Minecraft Skin Won't Load Java

Minecraft skin won't load java. This is now resolved but we wanted to explain what happened and the measures weve put in place to protect. I googled it and went to another Minecraft forum that had an answer. Just MC the rest of my computer runs on Windows 8.

Unless youre currently playing Minecraft version 179 or higher it is recommended that you switch your game version. This thread was marked as Locked by webrosc. Version 178 and earlier take about an hour or two to load your skins which is why you wont be able to see them immediately.
